Yes! Magazine is an independent and nonpartisan publisher of solutions journalism. They are accepting pitches for their winter issue, “Bodies.” The issue will “explore the ways our bodies, in both the literal and metaphorical sense, can provide avenues for resistance, healing, community cohesion, and societal transformation.” Their “conception of the body is not limited to the physical body, but rather includes the bodies of which we are also a part: our communities, our body politic (local, national, and global), and our planet.” Their website base rate for reported articles is $0.40/word and print base rate is $0.50/word.
